Thank You Volunteers
The participation we received from volunteers was tremendous! We had volunteer support
from all the west Pierce neighbor cities including Gig Harbor, Steilacoom, Lakewood,
Tacoma, Puyallup and places must further afield. We hope you will all come back
to enjoy the playground after it permanently opens this week.
Where's my picket?
The final batch of engraved pickets, those ordered after Aug 8th, have yet to be
installed. We anticipate they will be installed during the month of November. With thanks to your generosity all
of the picket space has been sold. When installation is complete all the blank picket
spaces will be filled.
Playground Construction Principally Complete
The apparatus of construction has come down and the site is now open for your enjoyment.
Additional finishing touches, including artwork, signage and additional benches
will get filled in soon.
If you bought a fence picket after approximately August 8th then it is part of the
second engraving run which will be installed in November.
Lost and Found
Lost items can be retrieved from the offices of the Chambers Creek Foundation in
the Environmental Services building located at 9850 64th St W. Unclaimed items will
be held for 2 weeks and then donated to Good Will.
